Whether it’s your first cup of the day or a late afternoon pick-me-up, knowing where to grab a quick coffee or tea during your interviews is essential. Luckily, Toronto is filled with delicious coffee shops so you’ll never have to show up to an interview without that much needed caffeine fix again!
As exciting as it is, the interview process can also be hectic and busy, so don’t be afraid to sit down and enjoy your coffee for a few minutes. It’s a great way to clear your mind and reset between meetings.
Here is a short list of coffee shops in the area you should consider visiting during your interviews:
1. Boxcar Social – 70 Temperance St.
Tucked away on Temperance St, this place is great to grab a cappuccino and they also serve delicious breakfast sandwiches. Inside, it has a cool industrial vibe and you can come back in the evening for a cocktail too!
2. Bulldog Coffee – 111 Richmond St. W.
Run by a banker turned barista, Bulldog Coffee is the place to go if you are looking for an extreme caffeine fix. Their signature drink known as the “bulldog” is a cross between a cappuccino and latte and can be made with up to 4 shots of espresso!
3. Dineen Coffee – 140 Yonge St.
Located a few steps from our office, Dineen is a great place to go when you need a breath of fresh air. They also have a location in Commerce Court West so no matter which way you’re coming from, you can always get a quick fix.
3. Starbucks – Everywhere
It may be basic but coffee is coffee and you don’t always need to go to fancy shops to get your daily brew. Tip: grab a banana at the cash for an energy boost!
4. Pilot Coffee Roasters – 100 King St. W.
Located in First Canadian Place, Pilot Coffee Roasters is for those who truly appreciate the effort that goes into pulling a perfectly crafted shot of espresso. They have taken coffee and turned it into a science!
5. Mos Mos – 25 King St. W.
In addition to the location at First Canadian Place, Mos Mos opened up by the King St. subway station in the path and constantly has a fast moving line up.Check it out when you get off the train to see what the hype is all about!
6. Eddie's – 333 Bay St. Suite 3400
Last but not least - Located on the 34th floor of the Bay Adelaide Centre, Eddie's is Goodmans' very own coffee shop. It's well equipped, with 2 fully automatic espresso machines so you can enjoy a cappuccino or latte with the push of a button. Coffee, and good times are always flowing at Eddie's.
