In the Community
Our lawyers, students and staff recognize that we have the power to effect change by investing time in our communities, and these initiatives are some of the most rewarding aspects of student life at Goodmans!

Pancake Breakfast for United Way
In October 2022, articling students hosted a 70s-themed pancake breakfast to support our United Way campaign! United Way is an organization close to our hearts, and one we support annually.

Meals-to-go at Ronald McDonald House Charities
Goodmans articling students and associates volunteered an afternoon of their time at Ronald McDonald House Charities. They prepared "meals-to-go" to ease the financial and mental burden on non-local families who have children being treated at SickKids hospital, and who use the RMH space as a home away from home.
Lawyers Feed the Hungry
Goodmans regularly supports Lawyers Feed the Hungry by donating and volunteering at The Law Society of Upper Canada.
The Big Bike - Heart & Stroke Foundation
Our summer students recently joined the Goodmans team on the Big Bike in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, riding through the downtown core to raise awareness for heart health. Funds raised go towards initiatives like installing defibrillators and funding life-saving research across Canada!
